 Buddha's torso This Buddha image was destroyed by thieves trying to get at the treasures originally placed inside the statue. There would have been a jewel in the location of the heart, hence the hole in the chest. Part of the ruins of the 600 year old ancient city of Souvannakhomkham, Laos.
